The position fulfills child-specific Cross-System Coordination and Education Liaison functions; participates as Crisis Management Staff for assigned children; supports foster family home recruitment during Phase II of verification; and promotes caregiver retention through responsive support, coaching, resource coordination, and service delivery. The Foster Care Specialist collaborates with the Area Director, Dedicated Support Specialist, and Kinship Caregiver Support Specialist as applicable, while retaining responsibility for the child's primary case management.
