CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) in Marion, Virginia, designs, develops, manufactures, and supports advanced composite radomes and aerostructures. Our products enable mission-critical military technologies, commercial aviation, and record-setting business-jet travel. The Program Manager is an experienced leader with direct accountability for program execution and customer relationships, along with regular visibility to GDMS leadership. In this role, you will lead the Integrated Product Team (IPT) and guide a cross-functional matrix organization in developing, defining, and executing cohesive program, product, subcontractor, material, and business plans. These plans will support the near- and long-term objectives of the program, business unit, and division. You will identify resource requirements; establish and maintain integrated, work-breakdown-structure (WBS)-based budget and schedule baselines; and monitor performance against those plans. You will ensure the rate of work completion supports program schedules and delivery commitments. Success in this role requires balancing program risks and opportunities, developing executable strategies to meet technical, cost, schedule, and quality requirements, and leading cross-functional teams focused on delivering exceptional products and outcomes for our customers. Salary Note This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. Combined Salary Range USD $172,563.00 - USD $186,719.00 /Yr.
