We are looking for a full time School Safety Officer that can work autonomously in an educational environment. The School Safety Officer provides support to their assigned school by fostering a positive connection with school students, staff, and parents. A positive attitude, public service mindset, and attention to detail are strengths a School Resource Officer must embody. Duties require time spent on foot both indoors and outdoors, and also includes traffic control and/or flagging on school grounds.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, Days Starting wage is $22.00/hr, possibly more depending on experience. Required training for Mental Health First Aid and Trauma Informed Care are provided in house. WA DOL license is required. Must be able to reliably commute to the Kelso, WA area. Must be able to pass an FBI background check as well as a drug test that complies with federal standards.
