Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an efficient, professional, and organized individual who is passionate about the growth and development of young learners. Our preschool located in Shoreline is a small, close-knit center with two classrooms, providing an opportunity for the Program Supervisor to work closely with teachers, children, families, and leadership. The Program Supervisor works closely with the Principal to ensure the preschool program operates smoothly, safely, and effectively. Responsibilities include program planning, scheduling, staff supervision, classroom support, health and safety, family communication, and maintaining licensing and program standards. In the absence of the Principal, the Program Supervisor assumes responsibility for the center's daily operations. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily program operations, scheduling, and staffing coverage. Supervise, support, and provide guidance to teaching staff. Assist with staff training, meetings, classroom observations, and performance feedback. Support curriculum planning and ensure developmentally appropriate classroom practices. Monitor child safety, staff-to-child ratios, health and sanitation procedures, and emergency protocols. Communicate professionally with families and assist with addressing questions or concerns. Maintain accurate attendance, incident, and program records. Monitor classroom supplies, materials, and facility needs. Assist with licensing requirements, inspections, and compliance. Support school events, special programs, and evening activities as needed. Step in to support classrooms and staff when necessary. Perform other duties necessary for the successful operation of the preschool program. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience working in an early childhood or preschool setting. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead and support a team in a positive, professional manner. Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, responsible, and committed to the safety and well-being of children. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain. Must meet applicable state licensing and education requirements. Position Details 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday Non-Exempt $24-$26 per hour, DOE Retirement plan with up to 4% employer match

$24.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
