Job Description

$75,000-$90,000 annual base salary DOE, plus quarterly bonus opportunities up to an additional $20,000 per year. Keep projects organized, customers informed, and teams supported. Do you enjoy leading teams, coordinating details, and seeing a job through to completion? We're looking for a personable, organized Project Manager who can guide field teams, manage several projects at once, and stay composed when plans change. We're Seth and Karen Peek, founders of Peek Painting. Since 2019, we've built a residential and commercial painting company known for strong customer reviews and a positive team atmosphere. Our employees appreciate steady work, recognition, and independence, and we're proud of our low employee turnover. This role is central to keeping both customers and employees happy. You'll build strong working relationships with our teams; coach Team Leads and keep everyone working toward clear goals. We're looking for someone who is approachable and firm but fair, recognizes good work, and follows through with respect and consistency. What you'll do Lead and support field teams through Team Leads, providing clear direction, coaching, and regular follow-through. Coordinate multiple projects from sales handoff through completion, ensuring customer commitments are understood and fulfilled. Plan schedules, team assignments, materials, and equipment so jobs are ready to run smoothly. Monitor progress, workmanship, and safety, helping teams resolve challenges and stay on track. Keep customers informed and follow through on questions, requests, and concerns. Track labor and material costs, address inefficiencies, and communicate quoting concerns to sales and management. Coordinate timely invoicing and payment follow-up with administrative staff, helping resolve project-related billing concerns. Coordinate walkthroughs, touchups, and final details so jobs are fully completed. Help keep vehicles and equipment maintained, and transport company trailers and supplies between jobsites as needed. What you'll bring Experience leading field teams or managing teams, with the ability to set expectations, coach employees, and keep work organized. Painting experience or, at minimum, a basic working knowledge of painting. Strong organization, attention to detail, and dependable follow-through. Friendly, professional communication with customers and employees. The ability to adjust priorities and solve problems calmly in a busy environment. A positive attitude, team mentality, and a fair, respectful approach to accountability. Comfort tracking project costs and using software for schedules and communication. A valid driver's license, a driving record acceptable for company vehicle use, and willingness to transport trailers and equipment. Trailer-towing experience and bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus. What we offer $75,000-$90,000 annual base salary, depending on experience. Quarterly performance bonuses tied to gross profit goals, up to $20,000 per year. Two weeks of PTO in year one, increasing to three weeks starting in year two, plus six paid holidays and five paid sick days annually. Retirement plan. Company vehicle and phone. A supportive team with steady work, recognition, and room to work independently.
