Job Description

Project Support Coordinator Roof Repair Specialist Bonsall, CA Job Details Full-time $68,000 - $80,000 a year 6 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Microsoft Office Specialist Phone communication Spreadsheets Basic math Executive administrative support Calendar management Supply chain management Process management Technical Proficiency Office phone management Excel data analysis Full Job Description We're looking for someone who's outgrown the "just answer the phones" version of an admin job and wants a seat at the table while we build something bigger. TWM Roofing is a Southern California roofing contractor with over 40 years in business, serving San Diego, Orange County, South LA, Temecula, and the surrounding communities. In 2025, we were ranked GACO's #1 silicone roof coating applicator in California and #2 nationwide — with over 1,000,000 square feet installed. We're a month into a growth push, and we're rebuilding our systems from the ground up. This role is a big part of that. This is not a "sit at the desk and wait for the phone to ring" job. You'll own two things that actually move the business: you're the first voice every new customer hears, and you're the person making sure every signed job is priced and costed correctly before it goes to production. If you like process, hate chaos, and want to help build the system instead of just running it, keep reading. What You'll Do Answer incoming calls (roughly 17-20 a day) — this is where essentially all new sales leads come in, so you're the front door to the business Book estimates and keep the calendar moving Run job costing in Excel on every signed proposal — breaking out labor, material, and profit Support the General Manager and, as the role evolves, the Production Manager Help carry the company through a major software/systems transition happening over the next 6-8 months Spot broken or inefficient processes and help fix them, not just work around them This Role Is Built For Someone Who Is calm and patient on the phone, even with an upset homeowner on the other end Has real (not just claimed) Excel comfort and basic math confidence Is a fast learner who gets energized by new tools and systems, not overwhelmed by them Is roughly 1-3 years into their career, feeling stuck or under-challenged where they are now, and wants more responsibility — not another static admin role Prefers following and improving a process over "figuring it out" from scratch every time Has a genuinely good attitude and shows up wanting to learn Don't Apply If You Avoid or dread phone-heavy work Are rigid about learning new software or systems Are looking for a routine, low-growth, purely transactional admin job Get flustered or defensive when a customer is upset What Success Looks Like In the first few weeks: you're answering the phones confidently, booking estimates smoothly, and starting to run job costing accurately on your own.
Within a few months:
you're a real partner to the GM and Production Manager — trusted with the numbers, helping the office run better than you found it, and ready to help lead the systems transition when it lands.
Must-have:
Comfortable and effective on the phone at volume Solid Excel skills and basic math ability Strong customer service instincts Able to work in the Bonsall office 3-4 days per week Tech-savvy and a fast learner Strong communication skills — equally comfortable with customers and internal stakeholders Nice-to-have (not required): Prior CRM or scheduling software experience Executive assistant experience Supply chain or logistics management coursework/degree Home services industry background (roofing, landscaping, plumbing, HVAC, etc.) No degree required. If you do have one, supply chain or logistics management is a plus.
Pay:
$68,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Benefits:
401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off
Location:
Bonsall, CA 92003 (Preferred)
Work Location:
