This position supports complex litigation and investigation matters, serving as a key resource to attorneys, paralegals, clients, and vendors throughout the discovery process. The eDiscovery Project Manager serves as the operational lead for assigned matters, overseeing eDiscovery workflows from collection through production and acting as the central point of coordination across legal teams, clients, and service providers. This role combines strategic project management with hands-on technical execution, requiring deep expertise in the full eDiscovery lifecycle, database design, Relativity, data processing, analytics, and document productions. The firm is recognized for its national platform, sophisticated client base, and involvement in high-profile matters. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful litigation while working alongside attorneys and professionals who view eDiscovery as an essential function in achieving successful case outcomes.
Compensation:
$112,000 - $175,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications
Location:
Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid) Responsibilities Manage multiple eDiscovery matters, serving as the primary liaison between legal teams, clients, and external vendors. Lead project planning, including matter intake, workflow development, budgeting, scheduling, and deliverable tracking. Perform hands-on administration within Relativity, including data processing, database management, analytics workflows, and productions. Oversee quality control of data imports, exports, load files, productions, and other case deliverables. Troubleshoot technical and workflow issues while ensuring compliance with client requirements and discovery protocols. Maintain matter documentation and contribute to internal processes, standards, and operational improvements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required and 3+ years of eDiscovery project management experience within a law firm, legal services, or consulting environment. Strong understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and related litigation support workflows. Experience managing competing priorities, deadlines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations across multiple matters. Ability to communicate effectively with legal professionals, vendors, and technical teams. Detail-oriented approach with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Relativity and related eDiscovery technologies, including analytics platforms, transcript and fact management tools, advanced text editors, and production workflows; Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) certification is preferred.
