Company car Free uniforms Job Overview Meier Brothers Landscape is looking for an experienced Landscape Construction Project Manager to manage projects from job handoff through completion. Projects may include landscape construction, pools, hardscape, irrigation, and other landscape improvements. This is a hands-on position that works closely with Foremen, field crews, clients, subcontractors, office staff, and Leadership. The Project Manager will be expected to stay on top of project details, respond to day-to-day field needs, make timely decisions, and keep projects moving. Responsibilities Manage landscape construction projects from startup through completion and closeout. Work directly with Foremen on daily project needs, field questions, scheduling, and jobsite coordination. Coordinate equipment and machinery movement, materials, deliveries, and installation needs. Visit jobsites regularly to monitor progress, address issues, and support Foremen and crews. Manage project schedules, RFIs, submittals, material requests, change orders, and project documentation. Communicate with clients and participate in walkthroughs with municipalities, HOAs, homebuilders, developers, general contractors, and owners. Monitor project budgets, labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor costs, and revenue projections. Purchase materials and manage material buyouts within project budgets. Coordinate subcontractor work, including contract documentation and invoicing. Work closely with Office Administration on project documentation, billing, and other project needs. Review monthly project billings for accuracy and maintain complete project records. Handle routine project and field issues independently and bring significant financial, contractual, safety, personnel, or client matters to Leadership. Participate in company and Foreman meetings as required. Assist with training and mentoring Project Foremen and Estimators. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in landscape construction project management or a closely related role. Experience with purchasing, staging, contracts, scheduling, and customer relations on landscape construction projects. Knowledge of irrigation systems, hardscape, erosion control, and California plant material. Ability to read and interpret construction plans. Good understanding of job budgets, scheduling, and project costs. Strong communication, organization, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time. Comfortable working directly with Foremen, field employees, clients, subcontractors, and office staff. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with On-Screen Takeoff or similar software is preferred. Bachelor's degree in horticulture, landscape architecture, construction management, or a related field is preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.

$80,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Travel to jobsites, client meetings, and other locations is required as needed.
