We are seeking a Project Manager III to lead complex industrial and Department of Defense (DoD) construction projects from our Pueblo, Colorado operations. This position serves as the business leader for assigned projects and is responsible for safety, financial performance, contract administration, risk management, client relationships, and team leadership. Projects may include facility expansions, manufacturing improvements, equipment installations, structural steel erection, process piping systems, industrial maintenance work, capital improvement programs, and mission-critical federal construction projects supporting Department of Defense facilities. What You'll Do Lead all phases of industrial and DoD construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout. Manage project execution for federal contracts while ensuring compliance with government requirements, contract specifications, and security protocols. Direct project financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, cost controls and profitability. Coordinate self-perform craft operations including structural steel, millwright, equipment installation, mechanical and process piping activities. Continually drive ICM safety culture. Build relationships with federal representatives, military personnel, engineers, subcontractors and vendors. Lead contract administration, change management and risk mitigation activities. Mentor Project Managers, Project Engineers and field leadership personnel. Represent ICM in owner meetings, federal coordination meetings and executive reviews. Department of Defense Project Responsibilities Manage construction projects within active federal and military environments. Ensure compliance with federal contracting requirements, security protocols, site-access procedures, reporting requirements and project documentation standards. Coordinate with government representatives and maintain professionalism and confidentiality on mission-critical projects. Estimating & Change Management Lead estimating strategy and cost development for complex scopes. Prepare, review and negotiate estimates in WinEst. Review and approve RFCs and cost changes in ComputerEase. Contract Review & Risk Management Evaluate contract terms, insurance requirements, bonding, commercial risk exposure, indemnification provisions and federal compliance obligations. Participate in contract negotiations and proactive risk mitigation efforts.

What You'll Bring Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 7+ years of industrial project management experience leading large or multi‑phase projects. Experience in manufacturing, industrial processing, federal or military environments preferred. Experience leading large-scale or complex industrial projects.

Security Requirement:

This role involves significant Department of Defense (DoD) project work and will require the ability to pass a comprehensive background check and maintain compliance with all federal security standards.

Skills & Attributes:

Strong knowledge of industrial construction methods, cost control, and scheduling. Advanced project leadership expertise. Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Technical Aptitude:

Proficiency in Primavera P6, WinEst, ComputerEase, and Microsoft Office. Ability to

Travel :

Willingness to travel as necessary to support project planning and execution. Must be able to work from project sites for extended periods and adapt to changing project locations and schedules.
