BILINGUAL PET RELOCATION COUNSELOR
in our customer service department . This is an
IN-OFFICE
position (not hybrid or remote). Bring your account, client relationship, and project management skills to a company that plans the movement of pets around the world so that families who are transitioning to a new home (or country) may do so with their cherished pet. We are seeking candidates who are fully fluent in English and Spanish as you will be serving customers in the Latin American markets. This is classified as a salaried, exempt position (not hourly).
What We Are Looking For:
An avid pet enthusiast preferably located in lower Fairfield County who can serve in our customer service department as a Bilingual (English & fully fluent Spanish) Pet Relocation Counselor. In this position you will coordinate the extensive customer communications and logistics involved with transporting pets. You must be highly organized, have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and be comfortable managing highly detailed projects and the concerns of pet owners. In this customer service role, your responsibilities will be:
  • To manage the moves of pets domestically and internationally while delivering the highest level of service to our customers throughout their pet's move. You will guide customers through the process of pet relocation as their primary contact while you coordinate the extensive planning details of pet relocation.
  • To develop the project timelines for each pet move understanding country and pet specific regulations and requirements.
  • To work with our internal departments and external partners on travel logistics, ensuring all travel arrangements are accurate and timely, including related research, flight or ground transportation, documents, origin and destination agent coordination, boarding and quarantine as needed.
  • Related administrative tasks include maintaining records fully in our customer relationship management system, interfacing with our partners, answering inquiries by phone/fax and email correspondence, and other assignments.
You will possess:
2-5 years of account or project management (or complex, relationship-oriented customer service ) experience in a fast-paced, dynamic and team-oriented environment Full fluency in English and Spanish Customer-centric personality - friendly, helpful, professional . Must have exceptional conversational skills, be very polished and poised when dealing with customers throughout the world Able to perform well in time-sensitive situations observing all deadlines Superior time management and organizational skills are a must in order to manage a large volume of pet moves particularly in the busiest months while demonstrating meticulous attention to detail. Be able to work outside of normal business hours as needed . Please note that our customers are situated in different international time zones requiring some work to extend beyond our normal office hours which are Monday through Friday from 8:30a-5p. Data entry/ keyboarding speed of at 55 WPM with high degree of accuracy Bachelor's degree from an accredited college required - various majors considered Passion for pets vital! We offer a salary/benefits of $63,000 - $65,000 annually with opportunity for growth! This is an in-office position (not hybrid or remote).
