Heavy-civil and highway contractor, searching for an experienced Project Administrator to join our team! We specialize in excavation, rock handling, underground utilities, private and public infrastructure, asphalt paving, aggregate crushing, and much more. Our projects include public and private entities including Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), city and county municipalities, private residential and commercial developments.

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate job set up once signed contract is received. Maintain job plans as they are continuously updated. Work with the project superintendents to coordinate Testing, Tie Ins, Startups, and deliveries. Requisition of supplies and materials to complete construction projects. Solicit, negotiate, select, contract, and oversee subcontractors who complete specific pieces of the project. Verify and approve invoices from subcontractors and suppliers. Input daily project tracking information into software. Assist project manager with any administrative task as necessary.

Desired Experience:

Proficient in project management software, scheduling tools, and MS Office applications. In-depth knowledge of heavy civil construction techniques, materials, equipment, safety standards and industry best practices. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams to achieve project goals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Microsoft Office Dropbox Minimum 3 years civil construction project management (Required)
