Project Manager - Luxury Custom Homes Ocean Ridge / West Palm Beach, Florida Full-Time About the Opportunity A growing residential development and construction company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of high-end luxury custom homes in the Ocean Ridge and greater West Palm Beach market. This is an opportunity to join a well-capitalized organization with a strong pipeline of premier residential projects and play a key role from the earliest stages of development through project completion. The ideal candidate will have experience managing custom homes through the design-build process , including design coordination, permitting, preconstruction, budgeting, and construction execution. Position Overview This role will oversee projects from concept through completion, serving as the primary point of coordination between ownership, architects, consultants, municipalities, subcontractors, and field teams. Because these projects are entering the design-build phase , we're looking for someone with a strong project management background who understands how to successfully navigate design coordination, permitting, and preconstruction. Experience working with Ocean Ridge and surrounding Palm Beach County municipalities is highly desirable, particularly familiarity with local permitting requirements and approval processes that help keep projects moving efficiently. Responsibilities Manage luxury custom home projects from design through homeowner turnover Lead coordination between architects, engineers, consultants, ownership, and construction teams throughout the design-build process Manage project budgets, schedules, and preconstruction activities Coordinate and oversee permitting and approvals with local municipalities Develop and maintain detailed project schedules from preconstruction through completion Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure successful field execution Review drawings, specifications, and constructability throughout design development Identify project risks early and proactively develop solutions Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on schedule, budget, and project milestones Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards Qualifications 5+ years of Project Manager experience in luxury custom residential construction Experience managing custom homes valued at $2M+ preferred Strong experience with design-build delivery, preconstruction, budgeting, and permitting Knowledge of the permitting process and local municipalities within the Ocean Ridge, Palm Beach, or greater West Palm Beach area strongly preferred Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, consultants, subcontractors, and schedules Strong understanding of residential construction methods, estimating, and project sequencing Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, or similar platforms is a plus What We Offer Competitive compensation package Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage Opportunity to lead exceptional luxury custom home projects from inception through completion Strong project pipeline with long-term stability Collaborative, entrepreneurial culture with significant autonomy Opportunity for continued professional growth and advancement
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
