Job Overview We are hiring a Project Manager with experience in high-end commercial millwork to coordinate planning, approvals, fabrication, delivery, and installation while keeping external and internal teams aligned. The Project Manager will lead high value projects from kickoff through closeout. This role requires construction project management experience and the ability to read and interpret architectural plans. We are looking for someone highly organized, dependable, and adaptable. Job Functions Manage assigned projects from kickoff through closeout, including schedules, requests for information (RFIs), submittals, change-order requests, and punch lists. Review architectural plans, specifications, and shop drawings to identify scope, requirements, conflicts, and coordination needs. Review drawing submittals and markups, coordinate required revisions, and track responses and approvals through completion. Partner with customers, architects, contractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to follow through with requests and project requirements to keep work moving. Track approvals, procurement, fabrication, delivery, installation, and other milestones to maintain the project schedule. Document plan revisions, communicate approved changes, and verify that project documentation reflects current requirements. Monitor job progress, identify risks or delays early on, and support corrective action. Maintain complete, accurate, and organized job files. Knowledge & Abilities Experience with managing projects in the construction industry. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural plans, specifications, and related construction documents. Familiarity with AutoCAD; to effectively review drawings, verify details, and communicate changes with drafting and production teams. AutoCAD drafting responsibilities are not a primary part of the role. Strong project planning, organizational, and documentation skills, along with the ability to consistently follow-through on tasks. Clear, professional communication, written and verbal, with customers, contractors, vendors, and colleagues. Strong attention to detail and a practical, solutions-focused approach. Experience with budgeting and cost management. Ability to proactively address and adapt to design, scheduling, and customer-related challenges. Preferred Experience Project management experience in architectural millwork, woodworking, cabinetry, or a closely related specialty trade. Experience with Innergy ERP or related software.
