Structural Steel Project Manager Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Project Manager to oversee large-scale structural steel projects from award through completion. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with both structural steel fabrication and erection, along with a proven history of successfully managing projects ranging from 2,500-5,000+ tons. Responsibilities Manage structural steel projects from contract award through completion Coordinate fabrication, detailing, erection, and field operations Work closely with customers, engineers, detailers, fabricators, and erection crews Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and project requirements Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets Monitor project progress, costs, materials, and manpower Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation Maintain strong communication with customers and project stakeholders Identify and resolve project issues to keep work on schedule and within budget Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to contract requirements Qualifications 5+ years of experience managing structural steel projects Strong background in both structural steel fabrication and erection Proven experience leading large-scale projects, typically 2,500-5,000+ tons Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications Strong understanding of fabrication and erection processes Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Benefits Strong opportunity for career growth and advancement Strong benefits (Health/Dental/Vision) Discretionary bonus opportunities Strong 401(k) match Competitive PTO plan Long-term opportunity with an established company Send resume to mitchell.guerrieri@gogpac.com for more information
