Planning Engineer Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Planning Engineer Specialist to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will oversee and report new project statuses for all new project launches and support initial steps of planning a new project. Your expertise will drive project efficiency, ensure timely delivery, and support complex system design initiatives. Essential duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to: Create and update Part Flows and Standard Work Charts for all new projects. Create, monitor, and report project statuses for project status, equipment, tooling, trial schedules, and current project KPIs. Update and develop project management tools using Smartsheet. Track budgets using graphs and create cost tracking sheets for new projects Develop and update trial reports while new projects are implemented Monitor and update Shindo Kanbans for project launch progress Create material request sheets for new project trials Develop process plans for new projects Support the development of the basic plan for project approvals Purchase requisition transactions Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience in manufacturing engineering, project management, or closely related roles. Experience managing cross-functional projects. Proficiency in project management software, such as Smartsheet or MS Project. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with peers and management. Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills. Possess a positive attitude and be a motivated self-starter. Demonstrated ability to work with others in a team environment. Education &/OR Experience Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
