Assistant Project Manager (APM) - Mitigation Position Summary The SERVPRO Assistant Project Manager supports the Project Manager with water, fire, mold, and specialty-cleaning projects. This position assists with job coordination, documentation, customer communication, crew scheduling, equipment tracking, and quality control from the initial response through project completion. Primary Responsibilities Assist with coordinating water, fire, mold, and specialty-cleaning projects. Conduct job-site visits and help evaluate the scope of damage. Communicate with customers regarding schedules, job progress, and expectations. Coordinate technicians, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and specialty vendors. Monitor job progress, drying conditions, equipment placement, and safety compliance. Ensure moisture readings, drying logs, photographs, notes, and required documents are completed accurately. Review job files for missing documentation before estimates and invoices are submitted. Assist with preparing mitigation scopes and estimates. Track labor, equipment, materials, and job costs. Communicate professionally with adjusters, property managers, homeowners, and other involved parties. Ensure work is completed according to SERVPRO procedures and applicable IICRC standards. Identify job delays, customer concerns, or scope changes and immediately notify the Project Manager. Obtain required authorizations, customer signatures, and completion documents. Help maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked vehicles and equipment. Participate in the after-hours emergency rotation when required. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications A minimum of 3-5 years of restoration and mitigation experience is required. Strong knowledge of water, fire, and mold remediation practices. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple active jobs and changing priorities. Strong customer-service and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with customers during stressful situations. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to pass applicable background and employment screenings. Preferred Qualifications Experience with DryBook, Xactimate, Docusketch, or similar programs. IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification. Mold-related certifications where applicable. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb stairs and ladders and work in confined spaces. Ability to work in wet, dusty, hot, cold, or otherwise affected environments. Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Ability to operate restoration equipment and regularly travel between job sites. Schedule This is a full-time position. Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
