full-time We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial mechanical projects throughout Western Massachusetts. This position is ideal for a motivated construction professional with experience managing HVAC, plumbing, and piping projects from preconstruction through final closeout. Responsibilities Manage mechanical construction projects from planning through completion Oversee HVAC, plumbing, hydronic, and process-piping scopes Develop project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost reports Coordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and change orders Manage equipment and material procurement to maintain project schedules Monitor labor productivity, project costs, and overall profitability Lead project meetings and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders Partner with field leadership to resolve scheduling, design, and constructability issues Ensure work complies with project requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations Manage commissioning, punch-list completion, turnover, and closeout documentation Qualifications At least five years of mechanical construction or project management experience preferred Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems Experience managing projects for a mechanical contractor Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, change-order management, and cost control Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software preferred Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred but not required Mechanical field or trade experience is highly valued This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing mechanical construction team and take ownership of complex projects throughout the Northampton and Western Massachusetts market.
