Job Description
We are seeking a Sr. Research Project Coordinator who will oversee the day-to-day activities of a single complex or multiple research projects and makes independent decisions that impact the conduct of the research. Assists in goal setting and creating implementation plans. Contributes to budget formulation, communications, and data systems. In collaboration with an engaged research team in Baltimore and Fort Peck Reservation, the Sr. Research Program Coordinator will work in partnership to coordinate the adaptation of the myPlan Teen intimate partner violence tech program for and with Indigenous youth in Montana. The position will utilize community-based research methodologies to facilitate community consultations and youth engagement in the Fort Peck Community. Specific Duties & Responsibilities Assist Principal Investigator or more senior research staff to ensure operational feasibility of proposed protocol/study design. Develop standard operating procedures and data collection forms based on understanding of underlying study design. Develop or oversee design and implementation of study procedures and tools for data collection, e.g. participant interviews, administer questionnaires; background research, laboratory processing, etc. Ensure compliance with all protocols, procedures, and applicable regulations. Participate in developing study budget. Set up data collection system and ensure validity of study data. Organize and quality control study data Recommend and implement changes to protocol operations based on results and goals. Conduct literature searches to provide background information. Abstract and index information based on knowledge of subject matter. Other duties as assigned. In addition to the duties described above Work with the Principal Investigators and study team to coordinate app content adaptations, ensuring content of myPlan app is culturally relevant, accurate, research-backed, and trauma-informed. Present to partners and facilitate community consultations and Tribal Advisory Board meetings related to the app. Manage relationships with community partnerships, schools, and advisory board members. Based at Fort Peck, located in Montana, to support on-site study team members in project implementation, recruitment, data collection, and data dissemination. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Three years of related experience. Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in a related field. Collaborative and relationship building skills, able to build trust with community members and leaders. Experience working in rural and remote reservation settings. Based in Fort Peck, Montana. Technical Skills & Expected Level of Proficiency Analytical Skills
