Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and strategic Director of Delivery Management to lead our enterprise software delivery initiatives. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of technical project and program managers to deliver large-scale enterprise software projects on time, within scope, and budget. Develop and implement comprehensive project management strategies utilizing methodologies such as Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Waterfall, and SAFe to optimize delivery processes. Oversee project planning activities including requirements gathering, scope definition, risk management, resource allocation, scheduling using tools like Microsoft Project and Project management software. Ensure adherence to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge), and IT governance standards throughout all phases of project execution. Coordinate with stakeholders across business units to communicate project status, manage expectations, and facilitate decision-making. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project performance metrics, implementing best practices in software implementation, release management, and disaster recovery planning. Manage dependencies related to cloud computing platforms such as AWS, enterprise databases like SQL and Oracle, and IT infrastructure components to ensure seamless integration and system stability. Qualifications Proven experience in technical project management within enterprise software environments with a strong track record of delivering complex projects successfully. Extensive supervisory experience leading cross-functional teams of project managers and technical staff. Deep understanding of project management methodologies including Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Waterfall, and SAFe frameworks. Proficiency with project management tools such as TFS (Team Foundation Server), VersionOne, Jira, Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Strong knowledge of SDLC processes, requirements gathering techniques, user acceptance testing (UAT), test case development, and software development best practices including test-driven development. Technical proficiency in cloud computing platforms like AWS; databases such as SQL and Oracle; IT infrastructure; disaster recovery; IT governance; and enterprise solutions implementation. Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels while managing expectations. Analytical skills for risk assessment, analysis of project data, problem-solving capabilities, and organizational skills for effective time management. Certification in PMP (Project Management Professional), Scrum Master or equivalent is highly desirable; familiarity with PMBOK standards is preferred. $190,156.90 - $238,576.05 per year
