Minimum of two years' experience in case management, fiscal literacy, and advising with low-income, first-generation, and/or students with disabilities required. TRIO/SSS

Project Coordinator will provide direct services to the TRIO participants. Services include those related to increasing the likelihood of participants achieving academic success. Will perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with college policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Essential Functions Provides information and assistance to participants regarding their personal and educational goal achievement. Essential Functions Responsible for providing case management to student participants, including necessary services and/or referrals.

Ensure that all participants are provided educational, personal, and career counseling. Essential Functions Assists and/or develops workshops which focus on study skills, learning strategies, career exploration, and professional/development. This shall include teaching a Personal Development course for participants. Essential Functions Assists with academic advisement efforts regarding participant course selection and academic progress and shall be listed as co-advisor for TRIO participants. Coordinate the development of participants academic plans & ensure that the information is maintained in the database. Essential Functions Works closely with and provides referrals to other departments such as Academic Success Center, Career/Employment Services, Disabilities Services, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, etc. Essential Functions Assists students with the transfer process which includes: scheduling in-state transfer visits to four year schools and completing applications for admission, scholarships, financial aid, & housing. Essential Functions Meets at least once per month with each newly admitted and assigned participant. Essential Functions Maintains participant records including eligibility, mandatory services, contracts and agreements, academic plans and updates, admissions, financial aid, registration and other appropriate services, program of study and graduation completion information, and exit interviews.
