Full Time We are working with the Management Team of an American mutual insurance group of companies, offering personal auto, commercial auto, workers' compensation, homeowners, condo, renters, and umbrella insurance located in West Trenton, NJ 08628. Our direct client is seeking a Project Manager to support enterprise initiatives and strategic business objectives. The Project Manager is responsible for leading projects from initiation through completion while partnering with business and technology teams to ensure successful delivery. This role supports enterprise initiatives by coordinating cross functional teams, managing timelines and risks, and maintaining strong communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate is collaborative, adaptable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This individual should have experience managing multiple priorities, facilitating discussions, and driving projects forward while maintaining a strong customer service mindset.

Hiring Manager Input:
Role Overview:

The PM team supports a business group that works closely with IT but is no longer formally under IT. Seeking a more technology focused PM profile. Property & Casualty insurance experience is required Strong Scrum Master experience is required, with the ability to clearly articulate and provide examples of how Agile methodologies have been applied in past roles. Need to be able to walk through specific examples and describe your approach and process in detail.

Team Structure:

Team/Group includes: 7 Project Managers 3 Senior PMs 1 open PM position Parallel PM organizations under other leaders consist of teams with 11, 6, and 5 PMs respectively.

PM Environment & Project Focus:

PMs are expected to support technology related initiatives. Follow up needed to clarify project portfolio mix: Application projects Infrastructure projects Security initiatives Guidewire related work was mentioned Potential Projects that you may work on: SEIM migrations Various technical upgrades Siteminder Entra AWS Github Etc. Business or Technical P&C related Projects involving: Guidewire OneInc OnBase Workday Databricks Etc.

Key Accountabilities:

Manage one or more projects from kickoff through implementation and closeout Partner with business and technical teams to support project planning, execution, and delivery Facilitate project meetings, sprint planning, status updates, and stakeholder communications Track project timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items Support Agile project management practices and work closely with technical leads and project teams Maintain project documentation, reporting, and metrics Identify project risks and challenges and help drive solutions and resolution paths Build strong relationships across teams and ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables Provide clear and consistent communication to leadership and stakeholders regarding project status and priorities Adapt to shifting priorities and support multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred 5+ years of project management or related experience in a collaborative team environment Experience supporting technology or business focused projects Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira or Planview Strong presentation skills Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word Preferred Qualifications Scrum Master or Agile certifications preferred Experience with project budget tracking or financial oversight Insurance industry experience is a plus
