Full-Time Office Project 10% Project Allowance 10% Project Completion Incentive 3 Weeks on, 1 Week Off Camp Status Mobilization/Demobilization Covered Trips Home Covered Job Summary In this role, you will lead a team to develop, coordinate, implement and execute a Commissioning and Startup (CSU) program. You will be responsible for pre-commissioning and planning activities. You will coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, Construction and clients to leverage diverse technical team skills to integrate the CSU plan. Your leadership will help identify budget constraints, risks and trends, manage progress reporting and proactively correct courses to ensure goals, objectives, schedules and requirements are being met. Major Responsibilities Develops and implements training activities directed at both employee competencies and technical skills for on project, or plant operations wide basis Develops highly technical learning programs to effectively train the employees and support the adequate operations of the plant in accordance with a systematic approach to training Partners with Operations Managers and Training Manager to design, implement and conduct budgeted technical training for a project or plant Provides operational direction and guidance to instructors and administrative employees as assigned Arranges for technical assistance as required Performs quality reviews to improve training efficiency, processes, and cost efficiency Researches and studies advancements in educational technologies and technical methods Recommends and/or implements solutions, modifications, and enhancements to technical training programs Acts as the liaison for various audits by customers, authorities, and certifying organizations Education and Experience Requirements Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience Required Knowledge and Skills Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills for coordination with Engineering, Operations and Client teams. Proven leadership and supervisory sk8llls with a focus on mentorship and accountability. Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards Understand of applicable Client work processes including standard work process procedures is preferred Experience in mining processes is preferred Familiarity with Client Standard Applications (BSAPs) including Acconex, TeamWorks, Smart Completions, Client Productivity System, PTR and other automation tools. Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives
