Job Summary The Design Review Committee (DRC) Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining the aesthetic and structural integrity of the community. This dynamic position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Coordinator oversees the entire Design Review process for new construction and remodeling projects, ensuring compliance with community standards. Responsibilities include managing project intake, routing and processing submissions and fees, coordinating site inspections, enforcing contractor regulations, and providing administrative support for the Design Review Committee.   • Proven ability to guide committee members and development teams in alignment with association standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Communicate design and compliance standards to contractors, development teams, and consultants to uphold community design excellence. Process and review Design Review applications, construction plans, and associated fees. Conduct pre-construction meetings and coordinate project intake for new builds and remodels. Maintain and update Design Review tracking systems, spreadsheets, and project progress reports. Manage all correspondence between the committee, owners, and builders; ensure timely document control. Independently review and approve minor design changes to expedite approvals. Track and process Design Review Committee income for accounting and auditing purposes. Collaborate with Development and Sales teams to share construction information with partners and prospective buyers. Research and respond to inquiries from owners, vendors, and other stakeholders. Perform construction site inspections, enforce contractor regulations, and recommend compliance actions. Provide weekly community inspection progress reports. Assist with departmental accounting and general administrative tasks, including phone inquiries. Support Office/Administrative staff as needed and perform other duties as assigned. Follow up on Project Completion Reviews until all items are resolved. Job Requirements Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit Must have a valid Oregon Driver's license Must have excellent phone etiquette Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking; Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis; Must be able to work outside on occasion in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat) Must be able to climb stairs occasionally, both indoors and outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat) Must be professional in appearance and demeanor Must be willing to communicate over multiple platforms as needed If you are a motivated individual looking to contribute to a small team environment while utilizing your organizational skills in the unique homeowners association industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as the DRC Coordinator!
