We are seeking a full-time Project Manager in our Pittsburgh (Carnegie), PA office. This position is ideal for an experienced environmental professional with a strong background in environmental chemistry, quantitative analysis, and site remediation. You'll be at the forefront of projects that make a meaningful impact on our clients and communities. What you'll do at KEY Environmental Project Management Manage environmental remediation projects including investigations, treatability studies, remedy design and remedy implementation. Develop and manage project work plans, schedules, and budgets, with increasing responsibility as appropriate. Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and subcontractors. Technical Leadership Conduct or oversee human health risk assessments, including the development of risk-based cleanup criteria and narrative remediation goals. Perform chemical fate and transport modeling and analysis to support remedial decision-making. Lead or support the design of water and wastewater treatment and water resource management strategies for site remediation projects. Support PFAS treatment projects, including treatment evaluation, pilot studies, and regulatory considerations. Interface with state and federal regulatory agencies and prepare permit applications and compliance documentation. Prepare and review technical reports, permit applications, and remediation documents. Conduct statistical evaluation of chemical analytical results. Oversee brownfield remediation and redevelopment. Direct environmental projects administered under CERCLA, RCRA, and a variety of state voluntary programs. Business Development & Mentoring Serve as a technical resource and mentor to junior technical staff; and Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and client development. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Geochemistry, Environmental Engineering (chemistry focus preferred), Chemical Engineering, Geology, or related scientific or engineering discipline. 7+ years of professional experience with a strong emphasis on site remediation, including: o Experience working under state and federal environmental regulatory programs. o Experience managing project budgets and schedules. o Experience preparing technical proposals and cost estimates. o Ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams. o Ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members. o Superior written and verbal communication skills.
