Job Description

PROJECT MANAGER - ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION
Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation's premier electrical and general contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for a Project Manager in Central Pennsylvania.
Position Overview:
Reports to Senior Project Manager. Manages multiple concurrent projects ($2M average size) across industrial and high-voltage construction.
Full lifecycle responsibility:
setup, budgeting, scheduling, cost control, labor and material management, estimating, documentation, and closeout. Client relationship management and pursuit of repeat and new work.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary:
$110,000 - $125,000
Annual Bonus:
0.5% - 1% of gross profit on all projects worked (average approximately $20,000), plus discretionary bonuses Vehicle allowance or company vehicle (~$500/month) plus fuel card Comprehensive health benefits 401K and retirement plan Paid time off
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously from setup through closeout Develop project budgets, schedules, and cost forecasts Manage labor and material procurement, delivery, and cost control Perform project-level estimating on own projects and change orders Maintain project documentation including drawings, field records, change orders, and closeout documents Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and vendors Ensure compliance with
OSHA 1910.269, NFPA
70E, NESC, and company standards Build and maintain client relationships; pursue repeat and new business opportunities Partner with Senior PM and project controls on project performance and profitability Conduct site visits and manage field-office coordination Office-based with site visits approximately once per week when projects running smoothly; more as needed
Qualifications:
Electrical construction experience required (high-voltage experience a plus, not required) 5-7 years of construction management or field-based electrical experience Field background preferred - came up through construction trade Demonstrated experience managing people and working through project challenges Union/collective bargaining environment experience preferred Associate's degree in Construction Management, Business Management, or Electrical Engineering/Technology, or equivalent on-the-job experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Bluebeam Strong communication and client management skills Solid understanding of estimating, cost control, and project delivery Valid driver's license; occasional travel required Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check Preferred but
Not Necessary:
High-voltage (69kV to 500kV+) project experience Power generation or utility-scale project background Familiarity with ConEst or Accubid estimating software Familiarity with project controls processes Local to Central Pennsylvania or willing to relocate
