Job Description The Assistant Project Manager will report to a Senior Project Manager and play a key role in supporting the delivery of K-12 construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of K-12 construction projects Support project schedules, budgets, procurement, and contract administration Manage submittals, Requests for Information, change orders, and project documentation Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams Track project costs and assist with financial reporting and forecasting Participate in project meetings and provide timely communication to stakeholders Support project closeout activities, punch lists, and warranty documentation MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant For the Assistant Project Manager we are seeking: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field 2+ years of construction project management experience with a general contractor Required experience supporting K-12 education construction projects Understanding of construction processes, contracts, scheduling, and budgeting Experience with project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Team-oriented mindset with a desire to develop into a Project Manager role What's on Offer Competitive base salary based on experience Performance-based bonus opportunity Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and company holidays Professional development and training opportunities Exposure to high-profile K-12 construction projects Defined career progression from Assistant Project Manager to Project Manager
