Connect Litigation

Litigation Technology Project Coordinator

Job Description

For more than a decade, Connect Litigation has supported many of the country's leading trial law firms and corporate legal teams with litigation logistics, strategy, technology, and onsite trial support. We are growing and looking for people who want something different from a traditional office job. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is technically capable, highly organized, resourceful, professional, and excited by a job that can take you across the country. One week you may be preparing equipment in our warehouse; the next you may be setting up a trial war room in a hotel, troubleshooting technology for a legal team, or supporting attorneys onsite during a major trial. This is not a traditional 9-to-5 position. Trials don't always follow normal business hours, and neither do we. Travel, changing schedules, long days, and unexpected challenges are part of the job. For the right person, so are new cities, new people, interesting cases, and a career that rarely looks the same from one week to the next. Connect supports clients nationwide. Projects are throughout the country. Candidates may be located throughout the U.S., although we are particularly interested in candidates based in Texas. What You'll Do Travel throughout the U.S. to support trials, hearings, focus groups, and other litigation projects. Set up and break down temporary trial offices, war rooms, workstations, computer networks, printers, copiers, and AV equipment. Provide professional onsite technology support to attorneys, legal teams, and corporate clients. Troubleshoot computer, hardware, software, printing, connectivity, networking, and AV issues. Diagnose problems quickly and find practical solutions in fast-moving environments. Communicate technical information clearly to clients with varying levels of technology experience. Document support activities and provide accurate information to clients and Connect management. Assist with shipping, receiving, equipment preparation, inventory, and client requests. Unbox, move, assemble, connect, and test computer and networking equipment. Support the Connect team wherever needed to make a project successful. What We're Looking For Technical experience matters, but who you are and how you work matter just as much. The right person is someone who: Is dependable, adaptable, and willing to jump in when something needs to get done. Remains calm and professional when plans change or problems arise. Can work independently without needing constant direction. Knows when to ask questions and isn't afraid to do so. Is exceptionally organized and pays attention to details. Can manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Communicates professionally with clients and teammates. Enjoys solving problems and learning new technology. Works well as part of a close-knit team. Is comfortable traveling frequently and working nontraditional hours. Technical Qualifications At least 12 months of related work experience, technical education, or comparable hands-on experience. Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365. Familiarity with computer hardware, peripherals, and basic networking. Ability to troubleshoot common hardware and software problems. Ability and willingness to learn unfamiliar technology quickly. Ability to lift, carry, and position equipment weighing 50+ pounds. Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the United States. Ability to work remotely and maintain a flexible schedule when projects require it. Experience in litigation, legal technology, AV, networking, IT support, hospitality technology, event production, or onsite client service is helpful, but litigation experience is not required. What Working at Connect Is Like Connect is a tight-knit company that values the person beyond the job. Our team works closely together, teaches each other, and steps in when someone needs help. New employees receive hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to many different aspects of litigation support. We also believe hard work should be recognized. This is an exempt salaried position with additional bonuses based on billed time. Our work can be demanding. Projects may involve long days, evenings, weekends, last-minute travel, and extended stays away from home. Connect provides 24/7 support to our clients when required, so flexibility is an important part of this position. But it also offers something most jobs don't. You'll travel. You'll meet interesting people. You'll work behind the scenes on significant litigation. You'll learn technology, logistics, and client service. You'll become part of a team that trusts one another to get things done. If you're looking for a predictable desk job, this probably isn't it. If you're looking for a career with challenge, responsibility, travel, great people, and a little adventure, we'd like to meet you. This position reports directly to Connect Litigation ownership and currently has no direct reports. Connect Litigation is not utilizing recruiting agencies to fill this position.
