Description:

Project Manager (Contract) Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Program Manager to join a dynamic Business Planning team within a Cloud Marketing organization. This fully remote, staff augmentation role focuses on the end-to-end operational execution and launch of cloud infrastructure consumption meters used to measure, track, and support cloud service usage. The ideal candidate will serve as the operational hub connecting Engineering, Business Planning, Commerce, and Operations teams - driving launch requests from intake through final delivery with precision, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage launch requests end-to-end from intake through final delivery, ensuring all milestones, dependencies, and quality gates are met on time Coordinate across Engineering, Business Planning, Operations, and Commerce teams to resolve blockers, clarify launch intent, and drive execution Validate launch scope, business requirements, and operational readiness prior to submission Perform structured quality checks on launch data to ensure accuracy and completeness before handoff to execution teams Track milestones, risks, dependencies, and overall launch health across a portfolio of active launches Prepare and maintain launch execution artifacts including tracking tools, status reports, and operational records Query launch databases to verify product stance, meter states, and data accuracy against submitted request details Support governance processes including exception handling, escalations, Express Lane requests, and operational compliance reviews Identify and implement process improvements, documentation enhancements, and automation opportunities to increase team scalability and efficiency Manage competing priorities across a high-volume, fast-moving operational environment while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines

Requirements:

5+ years of Program and Operations Management experience owning complex, cross-functional operational processes with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and milestones 5+ years of Launch or Product Operations experience in environments such as product launches, operational readiness, release management, service onboarding, commerce operations, or supply chain operations 5+ years of Data Analysis and Process Tooling experience with strong proficiency in Excel, reporting systems, workflow tools, and dashboards Background in large enterprise Program Management, PMO, Business Operations, Commerce, or Consulting with a strong execution focus Demonstrated experience supporting business functions such as finance, pricing, marketing, or sales operations Proven track record managing cross-functional processes with multiple stakeholders and dependencies in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related field preferred PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project/program management certification is a plus Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement certifications are highly desirable Strong program management and organizational skills with the ability to drive execution across teams without direct authority Self-sufficient executor capable of owning tasks end-to-end with minimal direction Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making sound decisions with incomplete information Data-driven mindset with strong proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, dashboards, and operational tracking systems Strong attention to detail while maintaining focus on broader business outcomes Experience with process documentation and workflow management tools Proven ability to manage high-volume operational workflows while maintaining quality standards Continuous improvement orientation with experience identifying bottlenecks and driving operational excellence
