Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Drafter to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings, 3D models, and detailed documentation that support the design and construction of complex mechanical systems and building projects. Your expertise in CAD software and mechanical drafting will ensure that all designs meet industry standards, project specifications, and client requirements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects across various sectors, utilizing your technical proficiency and creative problem-solving skills. Duties Develop detailed CAD drawings and schematics for ACM systems, using software such as AutoCAD, Revit. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into comprehensive technical drawings adhering to ASME codes & standards. Prepare CAD documentation including assembly instructions, technical reports, and system schematics with precision and clarity. Maintain organized CAD files using PDM (Product Data Management) software to ensure version control and easy retrieval of project data. Support construction teams by providing detailed drawings for fabrication, installation, and system integration while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Skills Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, NavisWorks, SolidWorks, Creo, Autodesk Inventor, or Pro/ENGINEER. Knowledge of Aluminum Composite Materials (ACM) System is plus, but not required. Familiarity with BIM tools for building information modeling to facilitate integrated project understand. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, ext. Excellent technical writing skills for creating clear documentation and assembly instructions. Knowledge of PDM software for managing CAD files efficiently in a collaborative environment. Construction experience is a plus to better understand on-site implementation requirements. Pay:
$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
