Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Property Management Specialist dedicated to overseeing a vibrant 55 and over community with a focus on homeownership and tax credit programs. In this role, you will manage daily property operations, ensure compliance with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations, and deliver exceptional customer service to residents. Your expertise in property management tools, legal administrative processes, and community engagement will drive the success of our community. Duties Manage lease or rental agreement processes, including tenant screening, onboarding, and renewals, ensuring adherence to Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 guidelines. Utilize property management software to maintain accurate data entry, rent collections, and resident records. Oversee property maintenance coordination, facilities management, and vendor relations to ensure a safe, well-maintained community environment. Handle client communication with professionalism via phone, email, and in-person interactions, addressing resident inquiries promptly and effectively. Administer budgeting tasks related to property operations, including expense tracking and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with legal requirements by maintaining accurate filing systems for contracts, legal documents, and regulatory reports. Facilitate conflict management and negotiation efforts between residents and management to foster a harmonious community atmosphere. Experience Proven property management experience within residential communities or property management companies, preferably with a focus on senior living or tax credit properties. Strong familiarity with property management tools such as Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC compliance standards, and Section 8 housing programs. Demonstrated ability in team management, customer service excellence, and conflict resolution. Experience in real estate administrative functions including leasing processes, contract management, budgeting, data entry, filing systems, and office procedures. Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and client relationship management capabilities. Ability to handle facilities management tasks such as property maintenance oversight and vendor coordination efficiently. $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
