Description We are looking for an experienced Property Manager to support residential property operations in Pasadena, California. This onsite opportunity is a Long-term Contract position suited for a dependable individual who can balance resident service, property upkeep, and daily operational oversight. The ideal candidate brings a practical, hands-on approach to managing vendors, addressing issues efficiently, and maintaining a well-run community environment.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, handling questions, service needs, and concerns in a timely and thorough manner.
Oversee day-to-day property operations by coordinating maintenance activities, repair requests, inspections, and routine upkeep.
Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service partners to ensure quality work and timely completion of services.
Perform regular walkthroughs of the property to identify appearance, maintenance, or safety issues and drive appropriate follow-up actions.
Support leasing-related and occupancy activities, including move-ins, move-outs, unit checks, and resident communication.
Maintain the overall appearance of the property by monitoring common areas, cleanliness, curb appeal, and general site condition.
Keep organized records of work orders, inspection notes, operational updates, and other property documentation.
Ensure daily operations align with company standards, lease obligations, and applicable housing requirements.
Provide updates to ownership or management leadership regarding property status, unresolved items, and operational priorities. Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in property management, including residential or onsite community operations.
Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with residents, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
Solid organizational skills with careful attention to documentation, follow-up, and issue resolution.
Experience coordinating maintenance personnel, outside contractors, and service providers.
Working knowledge of residential property operations and basic building maintenance practices.
Sound judgment, responsiveness, and a problem-solving mindset in handling operational and resident matters.
Prior property management experience in California is preferred.
