Residential Community North Miami Beach, FL Pay:

$15 hourly (Starting) About the Role We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Overnight Security Patrol Officer to safeguard our residential community during nighttime hours. This role is responsible for property patrols, gate and pool security, incident documentation, and ensuring the safety and peace of mind of residents throughout the overnight shift. Responsibilities Exercise sound judgement and attention to detail Utilize effective communication and customer service skills Report to post at on time; inspect the assigned golf cart prior to use and document any maintenance issues in the guard tracking system Check for and deliver any items left by the front office for residents Secure both community pools using provided locks and confirm all walkthrough gates are fully closed Photograph both pools and gates once secured and share via the team communication group; complete a corresponding incident reports Patrol the entire community by golf cart every 30 minutes Identify and document any resident or guest vehicles parked outside designated spots or authorized parking zones; file an incident report and place a warning sticker on the vehicle Inspect all community gates every 2 hours to confirm they are secure and untampered; log findings in incident reports Monitor the community's visitor gate during the final 30 minutes of shift, preventing tailgating and ensuring students without keys can safely exit for school Reopen the community pool at the appropriate time and return all equipment to the guardhouse Complete the Daily Activity Log prior to clocking out Clock out at the end of shift Applicant Requirements Class D Florida Security License (required) Previous security experience preferred, ideally in a residential or gated community setting Comfortable operating a golf cart and working outdoors overnight Strong attention to detail and consistent, accurate report writing Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Basic smartphone/app proficiency Valid driver's license may be required Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods during the shift Professional, courteous demeanor when interacting with residents and guests Schedule Overnight shift, 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM Consistent weekly schedule How to
