Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced multi-family property manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential communities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining property standards, ensuring resident satisfaction, and managing staff and budgets effectively. This role requires strong leadership skills, tax credit experience, excellent communication, and a thorough understanding of property management practices.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the leasing process, including marketing vacancies, screening applicants, signing leases and processing certifications. Coordinate maintenance and repair services to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards. Manage resident relations, addressing concerns promptly and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Supervise on-site staff, including leasing agents, maintenance technicians, and administrative personnel. Prepare and manage budgets, control expenses, and ensure financial objectives are met. Enforce community rules and policies to maintain a safe and welcoming environment. Conduct regular property inspections to identify issues and implement improvements. Maintain accurate records of leasing activity, rent collections, maintenance requests, and other operational data.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in multi-family property management or a related field. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of fair housing laws, safety regulations, tax credit and Yardi software. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or licenses preferred.

Pay:

$54,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
