Job Description

Overview Pioneer Property Management Inc. is looking for an experienced Residential Property Manager to oversee a 48-unit affordable housing complex in Keokuk, IA. Affordable housing experience is a plus, but not a necessity. Apply today! Job Summary The property manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the assigned LIHTC property.

Reports To:

This role reports to the Regional Manager.

Supervision:

This role oversees the property's personnel (maintenance technician).

Functions/Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of assigned property
Maintain all paperwork, ensuring it's up to date and compliant
Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet industry required standards
Maintain a positive, productive relationship with all residents
Complete lease/contracts with residents in a timely and reliable manner
Advertise and market vacant units to attract new residents
Maintain resident ledgers with the goal of minimizing past due balances
Accomplish company set goals and report periodically on performance
Other duties as assigned

Competencies:

2 years' experience as property manager or related role
Full understanding of property management and its financial aspects
In-depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management, specifically LIHTC
Competency in Onesite and relevant databases and software
Customer focus and bottom-line orientation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Well organized with excellent time management skills

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent Pioneer Property Management, Inc.
