Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Apartment Property Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Class A residential community. In this role, you will oversee leasing activities, property maintenance, resident relations, marketing, accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure a vibrant, well-managed living environment. Your proactive approach and exceptional customer service skills will drive resident satisfaction, optimize occupancy rates, and uphold the property's reputation for excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage a Class A community, coordinate with team members, and implement innovative solutions that enhance community living. Duties Manage leasing processes by overseeing lease or rental agreement management, including resident screening, onboarding, and move-in procedures using property management tool Entrata. Maintain compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other relevant legal standards. Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management activities to ensure all units and common areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained. Handle client communication with residents, prospective residents, vendors, and team members via phone etiquette and professional correspondence. Conduct regular property inspections to identify repair needs, enforce lease agreements, and ensure adherence to safety standards. Monitor adherence to budgets, track expenses, and perform data entry for financial reporting while managing property management accounts efficiently. Resolve conflicts effectively through negotiation and conflict management strategies to foster a positive community atmosphere. Upsell additional services or lease options to prospective tenants while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Requirements Proven experience in property management roles with familiarity in property leasing and contracts management. Strong proficiency in property management software Entrata or similar tools. Experience with Microsoft 365 is a plus. Knowledge of Landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations and related laws applying to the multi-family industry. Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead staff effectively while fostering a collaborative environment. Exceptional customer service skills combined with negotiation abilities to enhance resident retention and satisfaction. Office experience including data entry, filing systems, Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel), and client relationship management tools. Ability to handle property maintenance issues promptly while coordinating with vendors or facilities management teams. Strong organizational skills for budgeting tasks, lease administration, conflict resolution, and documentation accuracy.
