Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of commercial or residential facilities. This role involves managing maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining the overall functionality and safety of the property. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, and a proactive approach to facilities management. As a Property Manager, you will play a vital role in enhancing tenant satisfaction, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring the property adheres to all safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Supervise and manage facilities maintenance teams, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. Oversee maintenance repair procedures for mechanical systems such as HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), plumbing, electrical systems, and low voltage systems. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory management. Conduct engineering troubleshooting for complex mechanical or electrical issues using schematics, multimeters (voltmeter, ohmmeter), and other diagnostic tools. Ensure compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) safety regulations by implementing safety protocols and conducting regular safety audits. Manage facilities maintenance projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety compliance documentation. Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs such as HVAC system repair or plumbing system maintenance. Inspect facilities regularly to identify potential issues related to mechanical systems or structural integrity. Lead emergency response efforts related to electrical failures or other urgent facility issues to minimize downtime. Skills Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance or engineering teams. Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in HVAC system repair, electrical systems troubleshooting, plumbing maintenance, and schematics interpretation. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial control systems is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and communication purposes. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for industrial maintenance environments. Experience with CMMS software for work order management and asset tracking. Ability to read technical schematics and electrical diagrams accurately. Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong leadership qualities with experience managing facilities maintenance teams and fostering team collaboration. Mechanical systems repair expertise including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing systems, and low voltage controls. Good communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination.
