  • 5:00 PM] About the Property Norwood Commerce Center is a multi-building commercial campus at 61 Endicott St in Norwood, MA.
We lease flex space, warehouse, contractor bays, office suites, and studio space to a mix of small businesses, contractors, and creative tenants. The property is actively growing — new build-outs, new tenants, and ongoing site improvements — so this is a hands-on role at a place where things are happening. We run a lean, family-style team. The person in this seat has real ownership of the property and a direct line to ownership. The Role We're hiring a Property Manager to run day-to-day operations for the Commerce Center. You'll be the main point of contact for tenants, the person who keeps the rent roll clean, and the one who makes sure spaces get leased, turned, and maintained. This is a job for someone who likes being in the building, not just behind a desk. What You'll Do Leasing and Tenant Acquisition
  • Answer phones and respond to space inquiries
  • Show available spaces to prospective tenants
  • Negotiate and close new leases each month
  • Prepare and send out lease documents, and manage the signing process
  • Post available spaces online and keep listings current
  • Maintain a waiting list of prospective tenants Rent, Billing, and Collections
  • Produce the monthly Rent Roll (typically by the 15th)
  • Prepare the Past Due Charges Report alongside the rent roll
  • Post monthly charges and process ACH updates before month-end
  • Stay on top of tenants carrying past-due balances, and negotiate and enforce payment plans
  • Check mail several times a week and collect rent checks
  • Make bank runs and deposits
  • Help tenants set up and troubleshoot their RentCafe accounts Lease Administration
  • Handle renewals — pull the list, send renewal emails, and complete renewals before the last week of the month
  • Enter new tenants and lease data into Yardi and keep records accurate Move-Ins and Move-Outs
  • Coordinate move-ins: confirm the unit is move-in ready, keys are ready, and the tenant is set up
  • Run the full move-out process, including inspections, key collection, and closing out the account Maintenance and Building Operations
  • Manage work orders daily — intake, assignment, follow-up, and closeout
  • Respond to tenant issues and building issues as they come up
  • Coordinate with vendors and maintenance staff on repairs and turnovers
  • Walk the property regularly and flag issues before tenants do Administrative
  • Approve payroll hours at the end of each pay period
  • Post to social media for both existing tenants and the Commerce Center What We're Looking For Required
  • 2+ years of property management, leasing, or commercial real estate experience
  • Comfortable with property management software — Yardi experience strongly preferred (AppFolio, Buildium, or similar considered)
  • Solid with numbers: rent rolls, delinquency reports, payment plans, basic reconciliation
  • Strong written and verbal communication — you'll be emailing tenants, vendors, and ownership daily
  • Highly organized and able to manage a monthly cycle of recurring deadlines without being reminded
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (bank runs, mail, property walks)
  • Able to work on-site in Norwood, MA Nice to Have
  • Commercial or industrial property experience
  • RentCafe experience
  • Massachusetts real estate salesperson license
  • Experience with construction or tenant build-out coordination
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Portuguese) Who Does Well Here The right person is a self-starter who can hold a lot of moving pieces at once.
You'll be dealing with contractors, business owners, artists, and vendors in the same afternoon, and you need to be able to adjust how you communicate with each of them. You're firm when it comes to collecting rent and enforcing lease terms, but easy to work with. You follow through without being chased. Benefits Benefits package offered.
