work outdoors in variable weather conditions; prior customer service experience The Community Engagement Ambassador maintains a visible, welcoming, and professional presence within the service area while supporting businesses, residents, visitors, and community members.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Key Responsibilities Engage with businesses, residents, visitors, and community partners in a professional and approachable manner. Provide directions, local information, community resources, and general assistance. Conduct regular business and property check-ins and address reported quality-of-life concerns. Professionally engage individuals experiencing homelessness who are occupying business entrances, residential doorways, or other areas that restrict access, and respectfully request relocation while connecting individuals with available outreach or support services when appropriate. Observe and report safety, sanitation, maintenance, and quality-of-life concerns. Support community events, festivals, outreach initiatives, and special projects. Document community interactions, business contacts, incidents, outreach efforts, and service requests. Coordinate with StreetPlus management, public safety partners, businesses, and community organizations. Maintain professionalism, respect, good judgment, and appropriate boundaries during all public interactions.

Requirements High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license Lift up to 25 lbs Work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions Basic smartphone proficiency Undergo a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
