Legacy Bend Apartments

Property Manager

Job Description

Ready to Run a Community You're Proud Of? Legacy Bend isn't just another apartment complex, and we're not looking for just another property manager. RIZER Management is looking for an energetic, people-focused Property Manager to take ownership of Legacy Bend, one of our premier residential communities in Norfolk, Nebraska. Legacy Bend offers apartments, townhomes, and single-family rental homes along with the amenities residents want: a clubhouse, fitness center, swimming pool, dog parks, green space, and modern homes designed for comfortable living. We need someone who can bring the same level of energy to the resident experience. If you love people, take pride in getting things done, can juggle ten priorities without losing the eleventh, and genuinely enjoy creating a place people are excited to call home, we want to meet you.
THIS ISN'T A
"
SIT BEHIND A DESK
" JOB As the Property Manager at Legacy Bend, you'll be the face of the community. You'll build relationships with residents, give tours that make prospective residents excited to move in, keep leasing activity moving, coordinate with maintenance, stay on top of the details, and make sure the property looks and operates the way it should. One minute you may be welcoming a future resident for a tour. The next, you're solving a resident concern, reviewing availability, coordinating a turnover, following up on a lead, or planning something fun for the community. You own the experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Create an exceptional experience for current and prospective residents Lead leasing efforts, including inquiries, tours, applications, move-ins, renewals, and move-outs Build relationships and create a strong sense of community at Legacy Bend Stay focused on occupancy, retention, and leasing goals Market available homes and follow up with prospective residents Coordinate closely with maintenance to keep work orders, turnovers, and property needs moving Conduct property inspections and help ensure Legacy Bend always shows beautifully Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, prospects, and team members Handle resident questions and concerns with confidence, empathy, and good judgment Maintain accurate records, documentation, and property management systems Support rent collection and other day-to-day property operations Follow Fair Housing requirements and RIZER policies and procedures Look for ways to make the property, the process, and the resident experience better
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We can teach systems and processes. What's harder to teach is energy, ownership, judgment, and the ability to connect with people. You may be a great fit if you: Genuinely enjoy working with people Are friendly, confident, professional, and comfortable starting conversations Have a strong customer-service mindset Are organized enough to manage details without needing someone to constantly follow up with you See a problem and start thinking about how to solve it Can handle difficult conversations without losing your cool Take ownership instead of saying, "That's not my job" Are comfortable using technology and learning new systems Like goals, accountability, and seeing measurable results Want to grow with a company that is growing Property management, leasing, hospitality, sales, or customer-service experience is a plus, but the right person and attitude matter to us.
WHY RIZER?
RIZER is a fast-moving Nebraska real estate development, construction, and property management company. We don't just manage properties. We build communities. Our property management team is focused on creating places where residents feel at home while delivering strong operations, responsive service, and an experience that sets our communities apart. We are growing, building, improving, and constantly asking what we can do better. That means this isn't a role where you simply maintain what already exists. You'll have the opportunity to make an impact.
YOUR COMMUNITY
LEGACY BEND We're looking for someone who will treat the community like it matters, because it does. To our residents, Legacy Bend is home. And we want a Property Manager who takes pride in making it a great one.
