Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our multi-family 55 + Community in Massillon, Ohio. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, with a focus on maintaining high standards of property upkeep and tenant satisfaction. This role requires effective communication skills and a collaborative approach with the on-site team to ensure the successful management of the property. Candidate must have a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of 2 years' experience as a property manager or assistant property manager to be considered for this position. Duties Manage all aspects of property operations, including tenant relations, leasing, maintenance, and financial reporting. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards. Conduct quarterly unit inspections. Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, working closely with vendors and contractors if needed. Negotiate lease agreements and renewals while ensuring compliance with local regulations. Implement effective marketing strategies to attract new tenants, including upselling available units. Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, maintenance requests, and financial transactions using our property management software. Foster collaboration among the team to enhance occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction. Provide exceptional customer service to tenants by addressing concerns promptly and professionally. Effectively communicating with the Regional Manager and Owners. Skills MUST have previous property management experience- minimum 2 years required. Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices. Proficient in property maintenance processes and procedures. Excellent ability to resolve conflicts effectively. Experience in marketing techniques to drive occupancy rates. Proficient in using property management software to track maintenance requests and property management tasks. Outstanding customer service skills with a focus on tenant satisfaction. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. General understanding of Fair Housing laws.
