Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Leasing Manager to lead our property leasing operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective tenants while maximizing occupancy rates. Your expertise in property management tools, legal regulations, and customer service will drive successful tenant placements and foster positive relationships with residents and team members alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage leasing activities proactively, implement strategic sales initiatives, and uphold the highest standards of compliance and client satisfaction. Responsibilities Manage the entire leasing lifecycle, including marketing available units, conducting property tours, and negotiating lease or rental agreements to secure tenants effectively. Utilize property management software such as Yardi to track vacancies, lease statuses, and tenant information accurately. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant laws, LIHTC guidelines, and Section 8 housing programs during all leasing activities. Prepare and review contracts, leases, and related documentation while maintaining meticulous records through data entry, filing, and document management systems. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries via phone or email, addressing concerns professionally, and upselling available amenities or services to prospective tenants. Collaborate with property management teams on budgeting for leasing campaigns, facilities management, and property maintenance issues that impact tenant satisfaction. Lead conflict management efforts by mediating tenant disputes or lease issues with tact and professionalism while ensuring adherence to legal standards. Experience Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on leasing or rental agreement management. Strong proficiency in property management tools such as Yardi, and customer relationship management. Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC compliance, Section 8 housing programs, and related legal administrative procedures. Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment. Excellent communication skills with a focus on client interaction, negotiation tactics, phone etiquette, and conflict resolution. Prior experience working within property management companies or in roles involving property leasing, sales strategies, and facilities oversight is highly desirable.
