Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of residential properties. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining property standards, managing maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and delivering exceptional service to tenants and clients. Your leadership will drive efficient facilities management, optimize maintenance procedures, and foster a safe, well-maintained environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead diverse teams and manage complex mechanical and electrical systems with energy and professionalism. Duties Supervise and coordinate facilities maintenance teams, ensuring all tasks adhere to safety regulations and maintenance repair procedures. Oversee the management of mechanical systems including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), plumbing, electrical systems, and low voltage wiring. Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to maximize equipment lifespan and operational efficiency. Conduct engineering troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, multimeters (voltmeters), ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, ensuring timely completion within budget while maintaining high safety standards. Ensure compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations by conducting safety audits and training sessions for staff. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, safety protocols, and repair logs for audit purposes. Lead facilities management initiatives by managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and overseeing procurement of parts and supplies. Monitor building systems' performance through regular inspections; troubleshoot issues related to electrical systems or HVAC system repair as needed. Ensure all team members are trained in maintenance management best practices, safety regulations, and technical troubleshooting procedures. Experience Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams or similar technical staff in industrial or commercial settings. Extensive mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical wiring (including low voltage), and mechanical systems repair. Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, engineering troubleshooting techniques, and the use of diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards along with experience implementing safety protocols across large facilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, reporting, scheduling, and communication purposes. Experience managing facilities maintenance management software (CMMS) or similar systems for work order tracking and asset management. Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in managing diverse teams within industrial or property environments. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with team members, vendors, contractors, and tenants.
