Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, professional, and customer-focused Assistant Property Manager to join our team at a busy apartment community. This is a temp-to-hire position . The selected candidate will initially work through a staffing agency, which will coordinate the hiring process and allow you to train and work alongside our team. This gives both you and our property an opportunity to make sure the position is the right fit before transitioning to direct employment. We are looking for someone who is ready to be an active part of the team—not someone who simply sits behind a desk. The right candidate will be comfortable interacting with residents, prospective residents, vendors, and team members while helping keep the office running smoothly. Responsibilities Greet residents, prospective residents, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner Answer phones and respond to resident questions and requests Assist with leasing activities, tours, applications, and follow-up Provide excellent customer service and help resolve resident concerns Assist with day-to-day property management operations Support the Property Manager and office team as needed Assist with resident communication and administrative tasks Help maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming office Work with the team to ensure residents and prospective residents receive prompt and professional service What We're Looking For Previous apartment leasing or property management experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Professional and positive attitude Dependable and punctual Comfortable working in a busy office environment Able to multitask and stay organized Willingness to learn property management systems and procedures Someone who is engaged, motivated, and takes initiative Professional appearance and demeanor Must be comfortable working directly with residents and prospective residents We are willing to train the right person who has leasing experience and demonstrates the right attitude and work ethic. However, we are ideally looking for someone with a solid amount of experience who can step in and provide meaningful support to the team. Reliability Matters We are looking for someone who shows up, is dependable, stays engaged, and takes pride in their work . This position requires someone who can stay focused throughout the day, interact professionally with residents, and be an active member of the team. Temp-to-Hire Opportunity The initial position will be through a staffing agency. During this period, you will have the opportunity to train with our team, learn our property and processes, and demonstrate that you are a good fit for the position . You can start asap! For the right candidate, this position can transition into a permanent position with the property. $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
