This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise across a broad spectrum of facilities maintenance tasks, ensuring that all building systems operate smoothly and efficiently. Your proactive approach and hands-on skills will directly contribute to creating a comfortable, safe, and well-maintained environment for residents, tenants, and visitors alike. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, mechanical equipment, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using schematics, hand tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Conduct HVAC system repairs and maintenance to maintain proper climate control within the property. Carry out plumbing system maintenance and repairs, including leak detection, pipe repairs, and fixture replacements. Execute carpentry tasks such as door repairs, drywall patching, painting (including residential painting), and general building interior upkeep. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting and system adjustments when applicable. Maintain facilities equipment through scheduled preventive maintenance routines aligned with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) best practices. Use schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions. Lead or assist with facilities maintenance projects while ensuring safety standards are strictly followed. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from residents or tenants and communicating clearly about repair timelines. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or property management roles with a strong background in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and carpentry. Hands-on experience with electrical equipment repair, HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, welding techniques, and the use of hand tools. Familiarity with schematics for troubleshooting electrical circuits and mechanical systems; experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately; proficient in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Strong knowledge of building interior maintenance including painting (residential painting), drywall repair, flooring upkeep, and general carpentry skills. Excellent communication skills in English for effective interaction with residents, team members, contractors, and vendors. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical work, plumbing repairs, HVAC systems, welding procedures, and general facilities maintenance.
