Job Description

We're looking for a Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our apartment community while creating an exceptional experience for residents and building a high-performing team. The starting rate is based on experience and qualifications. Personal Time Off (PTO) and Vacation benefits What You'll Do Manage the day-to-day operations of the apartment community, including leasing, maintenance, resident relations, and financial performance Lead leasing activities, including apartment tours, application processing, resident screening, lease preparation, renewals, and move-in and move-out inspections Develop and implement marketing and leasing strategies designed to attract prospective residents and support resident retention Ensure resident screening and leasing practices are completed in accordance with company policies and applicable fair housing requirements Provide excellent customer service and respond to resident questions, concerns, complaints, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally Oversee rent collection, lease renewals, and other resident account responsibilities Coordinate with maintenance associates to ensure work orders, repairs, preventative maintenance, and apartment make-readies are completed efficiently Manage property financial performance, including budgeting, expense tracking, invoice processing, and identifying opportunities for cost savings Prepare and maintain accurate property records, reports, leasing documentation, and financial information Monitor property performance and communicate results, challenges, and opportunities to senior management and business partners Lead, coach, mentor, and develop leasing and maintenance associates to support individual and team success What Makes You Successful Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field is a plus 1-3 years of experience in property management, real estate, customer service, or a related field Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, associates, vendors, and leadership Basic understanding of property management principles, leasing procedures, and resident relations Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving abilities Ability to lead, coach, mentor, and manage leasing and maintenance associates Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing responsibilities Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office Ability to manage property records, expenses, invoices, and other administrative responsibilities accurately Availability to work some weekends and holidays as necessary Physical Requirements This position requires frequent walking and standing, as well as the ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, and reach. Associates must be able to use proper body mechanics and lifting techniques to occasionally lift items weighing up to 25 pounds. You Know You're Successful When...
