Under the general direction of the assigned administrator, responsible for the planning, development, administration, and leadership for a group of student success programs including the Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS), Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE), and related programs for the District. This is an administrative position, exempt from overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act, with responsibility for formulation and recommendation of district policies, regulations and budget decisions related to the area of responsibility.

Additional Transcripts Education and Experience:

1. A Master's degree from an accredited institution in counseling, psychology, social work, career development or related field; (attach transcripts)

AND 2. A

minimum six (6) units of college-level coursework predominantly related to ethnic minorities or persons handicapped by educational, language, or social disadvantage (attach transcripts); AND 3. One (1) year of formal training, internship, or leadership experience reasonably related to the administrator assignment; AND 4. Two (2) years of experience (within the last four years): a. In management or administration of educational programs, community organizations, government programs, or private industry dealing predominantly with ethnic minorities or persons handicapped by language, social or economic disadvantages; OR b. As a community college

EOPS/CARE

counselor or

EOPS/CARE

instructor, or have comparable experience in working with disadvantaged clientele.
