Job Description

Peace River Center seeks a HUD Manager to oversee housing programs supporting individuals with mental health and substance use needs in Lakeland, FL. This role manages HUD-funded housing operations, ensures regulatory compliance, maintains documentation, and coordinates services with internal clinical teams and community partners. The HUD Manager supervises staff, monitors budgets and reporting, and leads quality and performance initiatives. This position works closely with clients to support housing stability, promote recovery, and connect them with needed behavioral health and community resources. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations of HUD-funded housing programs Ensure compliance with HUD and other regulatory requirements Manage client eligibility, intake, and housing placement processes Supervise and support housing program staff Coordinate services with internal clinical teams and community partners Monitor program budgets, contracts, and financial reporting Maintain accurate documentation, data tracking, and required reports Lead quality improvement and performance monitoring efforts Support clients in maintaining housing stability and recovery goals Participate in community outreach and stakeholder meetings Required Skills HUD regulations and compliance Affordable housing program management Case management and client services coordination Budget monitoring and financial reporting Data management and reporting systems Staff supervision and team leadership Knowledge of behavioral health and social services systems Community resource and partner coordination Microsoft Office and electronic record systems Quality improvement and performance monitoring
