Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Day Services to lead and oversee programs dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. This vital leadership role involves managing day-to-day operations, developing innovative programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering strong relationships with clients, families, staff, and community partners. The ideal candidate will be passionate about empowering individuals and committed to delivering high-quality social services that promote independence, dignity, and well-being. Join us in making a meaningful difference by guiding a dedicated team toward excellence in service delivery and program development. Responsibilities Supervise, coordinate and manage Community Day Services, Work Services and the Henry County Public Transportation programs, as well as the maintenance and janitorial positions. Work cooperatively with all agency programs providing leadership and assisting in the implementation of policy and procedures to assure the smooth flow of communication within the Agency. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, special education, or related human services field required
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience required Minimum of 1 year experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities required
  • QIDP certified or eligible to become QIDP certified required
  • Computer skills and strong verbal and written communication required
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, own transportation and proof of insurance required.
  • Clear MVR required
  • Clear record on Nurse's Aide Registry required.
Pay:
$28.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per week
