Public Works Director Recruitment Brochure This position requires at least 10 years of progressive experience managing a similar public works organization along with a bachelor's degree in public/business administration, civil engineering, or related field (significant relevant experience will also be considered). A master's degree in a related field and/or a P.E. designation is highly preferred. Strong project planning and tracking, budgeting, fiscal management, solid judgment, supportive and motivating leadership style, and participatory management approach are additional qualities that will make for a successful Director in the Village of Orland Park.
