Job Description

The city of Eveleth is seeking an outstanding candidate for a full-time Public Works Director. Supervises city's public infrastructure including streets, water, sewer sanitation, stormwater, refuse, cemetery, parks, Hippodrome ice arena, golf course, campground and building maintenance. Manages public works budget and inventory and plans for capital improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:

Two years college or vocational training in construction, maintenance, engineering, or repair. Six years supervisory experience preferably in a public works environment. Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field may substitute for equal amount of required experience. Must be able to obtain a Minnesota Class B Commercial Drivers License within one year.
